Halloween Nails 2026: 13 Sets, Whether You Scare Easily or Not

The Halloween nails 2026 has produced so far fall into two camps that barely speak to each other. One side is lilac ghosts, gingham pumpkins and bows. The other is blood splatter, slit-pupil red eyes and ghosts sculpted right off the nail. Scratch, the British trade magazine for nail professionals, summed up the softer side in its Halloween forecast: “creepy characters are getting a cute upgrade this Halloween.” Blood drips and spiderwebs made the same list.

So we have arranged these thirteen sets roughly from sweetest to scariest. Stop scrolling wherever your nerve runs out. Most are almond or stiletto, the shapes that suit a pointed, slightly witchy silhouette. Save the one you like and bring it to any of our seven salons around Houston, and if you want more classic orange and black, last year’s Halloween edit is still up.

Lilac glitter French almond nails with Frankenstein stitches, sparkly spiderwebs and a ghost tip

Frankenstein in Lilac

Pastel purple does the job orange usually does. These long, pointed almond nails rotate through four ideas: a lilac glitter French cut into a deep V, a white spiderweb drawn in sparkling gel over sheer pink, a nail patched in white and lilac and sewn together with black Frankenstein stitches, and a ghost peeking out of a white tip with tiny lilac hearts drifting above it. Spooky in theory. In practice, about as threatening as a cupcake.

Coquette Halloween stiletto nails with lace-edged polka dot and gingham tips, black bows and pumpkins

Coquette, Haunted

The coquette trend has wandered into Halloween nails 2026, bows and all. Nearly every stiletto here wears a French tip trimmed in scalloped black lace: black with white polka dots, pale pink with black dots, and orange-and-white gingham tied off with a fine black bow. Two accent nails trade the pattern for outlined pumpkins, one pink and one orange, sitting side by side on the tip. It reads more like a picnic in a pumpkin patch than a haunted house, which is the whole charm.

Almond Halloween nails with flower-framed ghosts, bats, a crescent moon and orange checkerboard

Ghosts in Bloom

Shorter, softer, and the easiest set on this list to wear to work. On a milky nude base, little white ghosts are framed by orange flowers, black bats fly over cream and peach French tips, and a crescent moon rests on a cloud beneath a scatter of stars. One nail is simply cream dotted with tiny orange blooms. Two more switch to a burnt orange and cream checkerboard, a seventies touch that keeps all that sweetness in check.

Almond Halloween nails with a mummy cat, a skeleton cat, a spiderweb tip and a crescent moon

Cats in Costume

Two cats, two costumes. On a sheer pink base, one is wrapped head to tail in mummy bandages drawn in fine black line; the other is a black cat dressed as a skeleton, with a skull for a face and white bones down its body. Orange and white dots float around both. The supporting nails stay simple, with a white spiderweb French on one and a black crescent moon resting in a white tip on the other. Party-ready, but the cats are the only joke.

Extra-long stiletto nails with black, white and orange wavy tips, tiny ghosts, pumpkins and dots

Little Ghosts, Long Nails

Extra-long stilettos, tiny art. Each nail is sheer nude with a wavy French tip in black, white or orange, and in the clear space above it float little white ghosts, pumpkins no bigger than a freckle, black spiderwebs, starbursts and polka dots. Because the base is see-through, all that length looks lighter than it is. Mixing the tip colors from nail to nail keeps the eye moving across the hand instead of stopping at any one finger.

Pink Halloween stiletto nails with heart-eyed Ghostface masks, spiders, ghosts and pink bows

Ghostface in Love

The killer from Scream, softened with heart eyes. Ghostface is painted on glossy black, with pink hearts where the hollow eyes should be, and everything around the mask goes pink: pale pink French tips, hot pink sparkles, a black spider on its web, a little white ghost and pink bows outlined in black. Scratch flagged exactly this mood in its forecast, pointing to “ghosts wearing hair bows and pink-themed aesthetics.” Proof that a horror icon can be the sweetest nail on the hand.

Orange, white and black drip French almond nails with bats, pumpkins, spiderwebs and stars

The Candy Corn Drip

Orange, white and black, the candy corn palette, poured as melting French tips. Each long almond nail drips a different color from the tip, and the sheer pink above holds a bat, a little orange pumpkin, a spiderweb or a sharp four-point star, tied together with tiny black and white dots. If you want something unmistakably Halloween that still looks clean, this is the set we would point to. It is still, technically, a French manicure.

Burnt orange glitter almond nails with black spiderwebs, bats and outlined pumpkin tips

Pumpkin Patch Glitter

A burnt orange glitter so dense it looks almost molten. On some nails it is left alone; on others, black spiderwebs fan down from the cuticle or a flock of bats crosses the nail. Two nails flip the idea, with a sheer nude base and an orange glitter pumpkin, outlined in black, forming the tip. Who What Wear UK beauty editor Eleanor Vousden suggests a manicure “that won’t look too out of place come 1 November,” and the plain glitter nails here would pass for Thanksgiving.

Lavender cat-eye stiletto nails with mummy wraps, ghosts, black bat tips and solid black pinkies

Witchy Purple

Purple keeps turning up in Halloween nails 2026 trend reports, and this lavender cat-eye shows why. A fine silver shimmer runs through every stiletto, with glossy black on each pinky. Over the purple sit white mummy wraps with two wide eyes peering out, black tips cut in the shape of bat wings under a crescent moon, and white ghosts drifting through more bats. Scratch noted that velvet finishes “are striking when used as a base for themed nail art.” For the finish on its own, see our velvet cat-eye nails.

Black and nude stiletto nails with smoky tips, chrome bat charms and a crystal spiderweb lattice

Black Lace and Chrome Bats

Gothic, but polished. Glossy black nails fade into a smoky, see-through tip, and right where the two meet sits a chrome bat charm with its wings spread. The nude nails in between carry a fine black web that reads almost like lace or fishnet, with clear crystals set along its lines. Scratch predicted that “delicate, detailed spider web designs over neutral bases” would become favorites this season. This is that idea, dressed for a night out.

Deep red glitter almond nails with a black slit like a dragon eye and silver spiderweb accents

The Red Eye

Deep red glitter, outlined in black, with a single black slit running down the middle of each nail like a reptile’s pupil. Across a full hand of long almond nails, it looks like a row of dragon eyes staring back. Two accent nails trade the slit for a silver spiderweb fanning out from the cuticle. It is the darkest set here without a drop of fake blood, and once October is over, the same red without the slit carries the mood into winter. Our vampy red nails edit has plenty of those.

White and black stiletto nails with Ghostface masks, 3D ghosts and red blood splatter French tips

Final Girl

For anyone who watches horror movies with the lights off. Long stilettos alternate between Ghostface masks on glossy black, sculpted 3D ghosts whose sheets ripple off the nail, and white French tips spattered in a red that creeps up onto the bare nail. Scratch describes blood-drip designs as a way to “add some fear to a French tip,” and this one adds plenty. The splatter is irregular, so no two nails come out quite alike.

Mismatched 3D Halloween stiletto nails with candy corn, a spider, ghost, Ghostface and a pumpkin

Everything at Once

The finale, and the most ambitious set here: nearly every nail is a different Halloween icon. A candy corn ombré in yellow, orange and white. A 3D black spider on white. Tiny 3D jack-o’-lanterns on a black V French. A sculpted ghost, Ghostface with bloodied cheeks, a ribbed orange pumpkin with a stitched seam and triangle eyes, dark red blood dripping from white tips, and a white web on black. Mention the 3D work when you book, so your artist can plan for it.

Halloween Nails 2026: Timing, Length and Care

If your Halloween nails 2026 plans revolve around a party, note that Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so the costumes may well come out the weekend before. Hand-painted and 3D sets take longer than a single color, so book a little early and mention the design when you do.

Almost every set here sits on a long almond or stiletto shape, which for most people means extensions; our Gel-X and builder gel full sets are the usual route. If you have never worn this length, a medium almond is a gentler start, and the art scales down well. Raised 3D pieces like the ghosts, spider and pumpkins can catch on knitwear and hair, so if you type all day, keep them to an accent nail or two.

Late October in Houston can still feel like summer, and air conditioning dries hands out either way, so keep cuticle oil in your bag. It helps the skin around a detailed set look as finished as the nails themselves.

Sweet or scary, save the set you keep scrolling back to and bring it with you. We will handle the ghosts.
